About Rosemary Augustine


The Author of Facing Changes In Employment and How To Live and Work Your Passion, Rosemary is listed in Who’s Who of American Women as well as Who’s Who in the World.  Rosemary, a career coach turned highly creative, is passionate about teaching others and expanding one's creativity.  She is most inspired spending time either in the mountains or at the ocean.  Throughout her career (including corporate positions and her own business), her zest for living outside the lines has lead her to being creative, colorful and sometimes outrageous.  She is an advocate of daily journaling and is a guide for finding balance and passion in our chaotic world.

Rosemary enjoys the challenges of creativity, journaling and self-discovery in all aspects of  life.  She paints using acrylic medium (see Art Gallery) and sports around with personalized license plates that say "Journal."   She recently visited Paris and studied the Impressionists to advance her painting skills.  Although passionate about art, she continues to coach individuals in business, career and life strategies using creativity extensively.

Rosemary began making her own career change beginning in 1991 and launched Blue Spruce Publishing, headquartered in Denver, CO.  As a writer, publisher and consultant, Rosemary specialized in career transition coaching for over 15 years coaching executives and managers in career change and entrepreneurship.  Rosemary offered numerous group workshops on topics ranging from business, marketing, networking, career transition, entrepreneurship, life balance, resume writing, journaling and more.  She spent over six years working as an outplacement consultant with a major international outplacement firm in conjunction with her own private career coaching business. 

In the mid 1990s, the Internet started to take off and Monster.com was just getting started.  To keep pace in cyberspace, by 1996, Rosemary founded and continues to manage today, the website: www.careeradvice.com.  Rosemary is the Editor of Career StrataGems!, a free online newsletter for professionals in career transition.  Besides authoring two books, Rosemary has written a variety of business and career articles, published in a number of national magazines and newspapers, and continues to be called upon by many who are looking for career advice.

Prior to 1990, Rosemary spent 20 years working in Corporate America - hiring, managing and training individuals. She has worked for such companies as Integrated Resources, The Coach Store, Prudential Insurance and Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation. Beginning in 1980, she spent 10 years in the financial services industry, holding a NASD Series 7 - Stock Broker's License and aspired to Director of Investor Relations for a Denver-based brokerage.   

A native of Southern New Jersey, Rosemary spent most of her adult life living in Colorado and returned to the NJ/PA area in 2001.  Rosemary is the owner of  Blue Spruce Publishing, and spends her time working, writing and traveling - creatively - making her home in Berwyn, PA.  She can be reached at 610.647.8863.
